When the Brewer Family told me they were interested in an in-home lifestyle family photography session, I was over the moon! In-home sessions are my true passion, my ultimate jam!
I love in-home family photography sessions for so many reasons, but here are just a few things that were super special to this particular family.
- Mom stays home with the kids and really wanted to capture beautiful images of things they do every day: coloring at the table, reading books together, playing Legos. You can certainly capture cell phone photos of these activities, but they are not going to be the quality to put in an album or hang on your wall.
- They just got a super fun, amazing play set and wanted to capture the kids playing and swinging. The play set took dad HOURS to put together. It is truly a labor of love. 🙂
- Mom wanted some images of the whole family smiling, sure, but really wanted to capture the family having fun together, giggling and loving on each other.
- They wanted to include Whiskey, their 1-year old, unbelievably behaved golden retriever.
- They really wanted photos ASAP, and in Arizona right now it is HOT. We are talking 116 degrees hot. With family photography at home, having the option to go inside, even when taking outside photos, is a great compromise.
