Costumes Family Fun

Our Family is a Circus | Halloween Family Costume

I am a lover of Pinterest and a quick search of “Halloween Family Costume” will bring up a host of adorable options to choose. When I am searching, it is important for me to choose an option that is both super cute and super affordable. With six costumes to prepare, I want to make sure I can do some DIY without spending a fortune.

When I saw some families dressed as circus folk, well I was sold! “Our Family is a Circus” was a perfect theme since it was indeed madness in our household! We chose Ringmaster/Lion Tamer, Baby Lion, Bearded Lady, Strong Man, High-Wire Trapeze Artist, and Clown as our characters.

I created much of our ensemble in a DIY fashion, throwing together some things we already had in our stash. I cut up some clothes, hot glued ribbon and borrowed the adorable 500 lb. weight from a friend who just threw a circus birthday party (lucky me they were crafty too!).
